M & C Cycle History
Mike And Cheryl Kritzman, founded M & C Cycle around 2000. They currently operate a parts and service business for Harley and Custom V-Twins. Located in the thumb area of rural Michigan, which offers plenty of great riding along with a local dragstrip for test and tune.
Mikes background with air cooled engines date backs to the 1960's when he modified Briggs & Stratton motors for more power- more times than not breaking things.
About that era, Ubly dragway ( our local dragstrip), was starting to get some of the nitro rails to test and show. The display of power and smell affected Mikes brain and would forever turn him looking for ways to build horsepower.
The 70's began Mikes affection of the V-twin, with the dreaded iron XL engine, (they were a pain, but they were fast) all the time studying and learning engine theory after hours from jobs that just didn't satisfy his true desire.
The following decades brought an Associates degree in electronics and stints in electrical work, which would become useful later.
About the mid 80's, Mike began to rebuild engines and various work for people working out of his garage, after his regular daytime job. Needless to say after time and buildup of tools, and equipment with a great deal of time and building fast shovel heads, that to this day can still smoke a lot of 95 twinkies.
